Tree Hut came out with a new scent of their signature sugar scrub called "Tropic Glow" a few years ago. Tropic Glow became very popular within the first few weeks of it hitting retail stores and selling out quickly. To create a magazine ad for this product, the idea was to create a relaxing tropical look that the product gives off when the customer is using it. The tag line, "exfoliate like you are at the beach" replicates the natural exfoliant of sand on your skin when visiting any sort of island. The product is so good the customer won't even realize the difference between the scrub and the tropical sands! With blurring out the background of the advertisement it helps to sharpen the look of the product and make it stand out against the rest of the design. The colors used within the design align with the colors of a tropical paradise which is what the Tree Hut Tropical Glow Sugar Scrub is trying to sell.
